Pork Day Out at Bator, Bali.

Bali is just heaven for pork lovers. It’s an island full of pork dishes and we just can’t get enough of it. And like hearing our wishes, here comes another restaurant that serve an amazing crispy pork belly.

Bator Bali is serving the authentic crispy pork belly from Manado. Along with other kind of Indonesian pork dishes that you can think of.

The place itself is not located in the famous area of Bali like Kuta, Seminyak, Canggu, etc. They’re located in the city area of Denpasar, but not in the deep part of it so it’s still easy to be reached.

The system there asks  you to choose 3 items from the display to be bundled in one package with rice. We, Indonesians, usually call it “prasmanan style”.  They serve all kind of pork along with the vegetables and also other Manadonese food.

So many to chooseeee…

I chose Babi Kecap (Sweet Soy Sauce Pork Belly), Babi Rica-Rica (Spicy Pork Belly), and of course the hero of the restaurant, Crispy Pork Belly. Oh, also asked for some veggies, just to balance all the meat. XD

Also as side dish, I ordered sweet pork satay, which turns out to be freakin good!!

Well, if you don’t like anything else other than crispy pork belly, don’t worry about it! You can simply ask them to give you one full portion of crispy pork belly without rice. Yeap. They understand us perfectly. Hahaha..

They also have smoked pork, but at that time, somehow the dish wasn’t ready yet so I didn’t get the chance to taste it. Well, another reason to go back, right? 🙂

As for the price, it’s quite affordable! One full plate with the rice was just IDR 35,000!!

What else do you need? 😎
