I’m the kind of person who likes to move around between hotels, hostels, and Airbnb houses while traveling. I can only have two nights of my trip and still book different places for each night. Well it has its ups and downs moments for sure. The ups would be something like a damn good bed, very friendly staff, super clean room/house, great breakfast, etc. The down would be a really bad service and untreated places.
I went to Yogyakarta before my usual getaway to Bali last week. Felt quite a bit bloated with works in the office and I decided to take a long leave. Why Yogyakarta? I don’t know actually. It is a tourist kind of city and quite far away from beaches, which is the kind of place I rarely go to. But looking at how my friends went there before kind of made me want to go to. So far, the only reason I chose Yogya just because of the food. Something made me go. I just didn’t know what it is.
You know that feeling when you found a really good place out of a random search? RIGHTT?? XD
On my last trip to Bali, I was dedicated to try new hotels as much as I can. Since I was only going to spend the weekend in there, I figured I got 2 nights to spend, which means I had the chance to sleep at two hotels. 🙂
One of the hotel I got from browsing through Agoda, and it totally caught my attention with their little perk. The place is called Seminyak Lagoon All Suites Hotel.
There’s a saying.. “Learn something new every day.”
Well, that day I’ve learned that I love Greek food. XD Especially the one I had at Nostimo Greek Grill, Bali.
It’s not that often you found a restaurant that was run by a family in Bali nowadays. And by family, I meant literally a small family of father, mother, and the son.
The place called Tamade Cafetaria and you can find it in Seminyak, Bali.
Bali is just heaven for pork lovers. It’s an island full of pork dishes and we just can’t get enough of it. And like hearing our wishes, here comes another restaurant that serve an amazing crispy pork belly.
Bator Bali is serving the authentic crispy pork belly from Manado. Along with other kind of Indonesian pork dishes that you can think of.
I like to do a little research before I go traveling, even for cities that I often go to. You can never cover all the spots in one trip. Plus, there will always be a new spot ready to be uncovered. Bali is one of those cities. It has too many places I can’t even check them all out in my life time. So, in my last visit I did a little digging for a unique place to have meals.
I use TripAdvisor quite a lot when I’m looking for places. And since I was planning to spend some time in Canggu, I decided to look it up and found this one restaurant sitting there on the top of restaurant list. The name is Dandelion.
