Four months. Yeah, it’s been a busy four months for sure. But hey, it’s been an entertaining one as well.
Just a couple more hours to the end of this year. The end of 2016. The year which we were all hoping to be a good one when it was exactly a year ago.
So.. was it a good one?
You know what’s the good of being the only child in the family? You learnt to do all of the things by yourself.
You know what’s the bad thing of being the only child in the family? You got used to do all of the things by yourself.
I was stuck in traffic a few days ago near Gandaria City Mall in Jakarta, and I was really hungry, thinking I might go for an All You Can Eat (AYCE) restaurant so I could be crazy and not thinking about the increasing bill every time I ordered.
I asked my friends and one of them suggested me to try this newly opened All You Can Eat restaurant inside the mall, called Kintan Buffet. Turned out, it’s a Japanese BBQ restaurant. Awesome.
It’s funny when people are defending or standing up for someone who they never met before or even see directly eye to eye. Even funnier when they do it based on someone famous’ article or writing and then say that if we don’t know that person and only read what the media says then don’t judge them.
I guess as we grow older and facing so many stuff in our life, our tolerance (in some occasion) could be a bit smaller than it’s used to be.
Past few weeks were quite challenging for me. Somehow, I was so easily annoyed by lots of people. I mean not the people literally, but more like on what they said to me or how they reacted to certain things that has connection with me.
“So why don’t you go alone?” | “Really? Why did you go alone??”
That’s the common questions people usually ask me before and after I decided to do something alone like watching a movie alone, eating alone, or even traveling alone. I always answer with, “Alright!” for the first question, and answer with, “Why not?” for the later.
