You know that feeling when you found a really good place out of a random search? RIGHTT?? XD

On my last trip to Bali, I was dedicated to try new hotels as much as I can. Since I was only going to spend the weekend in there, I figured I got 2 nights to spend, which means I had the chance to sleep at two hotels. ūüôā

Dandelion, a taste of local at Canggu – Bali.

I like to do a little research before I go traveling, even for cities that I often go to. You can never cover all the spots in one trip. Plus, there will always be a new spot ready to be uncovered. Bali is one of those cities. It has too many places I can’t even check them all out in my life¬†time. So, in my last visit I did a little digging for a unique place to have meals.

I use TripAdvisor quite a lot when I’m looking for places. And¬†since I was planning to spend some time in Canggu, I decided to look it up and found this one restaurant sitting there on the top of restaurant list. The name is Dandelion.

The underrated Sate Babi Jimbaran Lama, Jimbaran – Bali.

Bali never stops to amaze me with their delicious food. A lot of¬†new places have emerged since the last time I visited Bali, and yet there are still a lot of already-established good places that we didn’t know about.

Like this one in particular, Sate Babi Jimbaran Lama! A local pork satay (sate babi) vendor that has been running for a long time already.

Warung Mami, seafood gem in Jimbaran – Bali

Eating seafood in Jimbaran is like a trip ritual every single time I go to Bali. Though they only serve grilled seafood, the sauces and the seasonings ala Bali are to die for. Especially the mussels. The red sauce… oh man.

But since last year, I rarely go to the famous Jimbaran beach to have my seafood (except when I go with a group of people that want seafood by the beach, then I have no choice la.. hahaha..), I prefer to have my seafood in¬†one particular¬†small restaurant (or¬†Warung). You might have passed¬†the place¬†before and didn’t notice it or overlooked the place, but this kind of places always gives you the best satisfaction. On my last visit to Bali, I decided to visit¬†it again.
